Stamping On Self-Esteem In Smokers.

Stamping On Self-Esteem In Smokers.

There are some television adverts which are completely unnecessary. Do we really need to see the very latest panty liners and hear exactly how much absorbency they have? Must we bear witness to the next generation of soap powders and learn of their vastly improved recipes? And what is it with multiple blade razors??? First it was a twin blade, then a triple and now a quadruple. Why didn’t they just invent one that had more angled blades in More

Go Compare This With A Half-Decent Advert.

Television commercials are not as entertaining as they once were. It seems the days of genuinely funny adverts are pretty much gone. There have always been the crappy soap powder ones, but there was a time when quite a few were actually worth looking forward to.

Super Bowl, Super Bad

So like most people really into advertising, I watch the American super bowl just for the adverts. I struggle though trying to understand touchdowns with all my manly mates, just to get to those few coveted minutes of premium airtime where you would expect to find the best advertising campaigns that you have seen all year. This year the struggle through American football was in vain, as the half-time show was more interesting then the ads. Put that on top with the new Thomas Cook ad which I expected so much from only to find out that ALL celebrities are total sell-out, yup, I am a little bit disappointed with the massive lack of creativity from advertising agencies lately. If any of you have seen anything outstanding then please let me know, because I am losing faith. Anyways, the point of this blog is to actually find the good ones out there buried beneath all this crap…wish me luck!
