The Power of Advertising

We are living in a capitalist world where a wide variety of products are available for us to choose from. The demand usually outstrips the supply and the consumer is becoming smarter every day. Therefore, sellers have no choice but to depend a lot on advertising to sell their products in different corners of the world. There was a time when a good product was a success irrespective of the advertising involved but this is no longer the case.
Today, it is not just the quality of a product that makes it a success, but also the advertising involved in promoting it. It does not matter if your airport pickup has been arranged in used cars in Lebanon, if the hotel is able to market it properly, you will still love the ride. The power of advertising is increasing at a very fast rate due to the ever-growing number of medium for it. Starting from newspaper, television, radio, outdoor media, to online advertisement, it has huge impact on sales and profits of an organization. There are several companies that have grown their customer bases considerably on the basis of powerful advertising.
However, the fact is that it is ultimately the product that counts. Advertising can only bring customers to your door but it is the quality of the product that will make them stay. This is something that most organizations have realized and as a result they continue to work hard on their products along with the advertising campaign. They focus on the top features and quality of their products in their advertising campaign and ensure that the customer gets what he/she expect when they come to them in effect of the advertising campaign.
